Job summary

BDO's Tax Graduate Programme offers three years of hands-on client work while studying towards ACA/CTA and tax qualifications. You’ll learn from experienced professionals, developing technical knowledge and commercial confidence as you contribute to client projects.

You’ll gain responsibility, build relationships with clients and colleagues, and have opportunities to shape your career. Induction is on 20 September 2027, with a guaranteed permanent role on successful exams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 degree (or predicted).
• Three A-levels (or four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers) at A*-C.
• GCSEs at grade 4+ in Maths and English (or equivalent).
• Commitment to balance study and professional work.
• Right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not provided.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience while studying towards ACA/CTA, AAT/CTA (tax pathway).
• Work alongside experienced professionals on client work.
• Develop technical knowledge and commercial skills through real projects.
• Progress to taking on more responsibility and building client relationships.
