Job summary

BDO UK LLP is offering a year-long Audit Industrial Placement in Birmingham, starting September 2027. You’ll gain hands-on Audit experience, work with clients and colleagues, and prepare for a professional qualification on a clear path toward the Graduate Programme.

You’ll sit three professional exams, log six months of work with the relevant body, and have the chance to return to a graduate role after the placement. Relocation is not required.

Qualifications

• Second-year student on a four-year undergraduate degree (placement option).
• On track to achieve a minimum 2:2 degree in any discipline.
• Three A-levels or equivalent at grades A*-C (UCAS points not used).
• GCSEs at grade 4 or above in Maths and English; evidence may be required.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on Audit experience while working with clients and colleagues.
• Sit three professional exams during the placement.
• Log six months of practical experience with the relevant Professional Body.
• Return to BDO on the Graduate programme to complete remaining exams and training.
• Opportunity to apply to return to your placement team with a graduate offer.
