Legal & General (L&G) is seeking a Tax & Expense Operations Manager to lead a team delivering accurate tax, expense ledger, cost allocation and balance sheet activities. You will partner with Finance and Group Tax, strengthen financial controls, oversee day‑to‑day deliverables, and drive efficiency and centralisation of services through change initiatives.

• Qualified accountant or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Practical understanding of tax processes and VAT.
• Experience with cost allocation and forecasting.
• Proven leadership of teams.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team with clear direction.
• Build collaborative relationships with business partners and senior stakeholders.
• Maintain a robust financial control framework across tax, expense accounting, cost allocations and balance sheet activities.
• Oversee day-to-day deliverables, workloads and service demands for accuracy and timeliness.
• Review and approve key deliverables, including cost allocations, tax submissions and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate inputs across divisions and challenge processes to improve efficiency and customer outcomes.
• Lead change initiatives across systems and processes from assessment to implementation.
• Create an inclusive environment where colleagues are empowered to improve services and outcomes.
