At Director level, you should be proactive, curious, committed to self-development, resilient, and experienced in leading successful teams. Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and confident networking abilities are essential. You should have strong business development skills with a proven track record of identifying opportunities and converting them into projects.

Roles and responsibilities:

You will work within the team to grow our business by:

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships and internal networks;
  • Leading outsourced tax reporting engagements with technical excellence and efficiency;
  • Managing corporate tax compliance and outsourcing contracts;
  • Driving efficiency through technology and controls;
  • Providing technical advice on new legislation and ad hoc requests;
  • Developing solutions to complex problems;
  • Interacting confidently with senior internal and external stakeholders;
  • Identifying additional client needs and liaising with specialists;
  • Leading business development and contract negotiations;
  • Supporting group/statutory tax reporting and project management under US GAAP and IFRS;
  • Coaching team members;
  • Following KPMG policies and best practices;
  • Maintaining a positive and resilient attitude;
  • Networking effectively to understand client needs.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified by experience or ATT/CTA/ACA or equivalent;
  • Experience with UK corporate tax legislation and compliance, especially for large groups;
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to various audiences;
  • High attention to detail and client service orientation;
  • Leadership, enthusiasm, and positive attitude under pressure;
  • Ability to foster cooperative relationships;
  • Strong project management skills;
  • Providing ongoing feedback, coaching, and mentoring;
