Job summary

PRO TAX in Shrewsbury is seeking a Tax Assistant Manager to deliver advisory services to individuals, SMEs and larger corporates. You will build and maintain strong client relationships, advise on tax planning and legislative changes, and work with Accounts and Audit teams on broader client projects.

Qualifications

• CTA or Part Qualified is required.
• Experience in tax advisory work is essential.
• Practice background is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.
• Proactive and commercially minded approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tax advisory services to individuals, SMEs and larger corporate clients.
• Build long-term client relationships and act as a trusted advisor.
• Support clients with tax planning and legislative changes.
• Work closely with Accounts and Audit teams on wider client projects.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members.
