Job summary

Interpath Advisory is seeking an Assistant Manager to support UK corporate tax and transaction tax advisory work. You will help with tax compliance, restructurings, and advisory services for a diverse client base, including M&A and refinancing projects.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of tax matters, developing technical expertise while building a strong internal and external network. A collaborative, fast-paced environment with hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• CTA and/or ACA qualified, or equivalent with relevant tax experience.
• Strong UK Corporate Tax experience in professional services or tax advisory.
• Experience supporting transaction tax engagements including due diligence and M&A.
• Solid understanding of UK corporation tax legislation and its practical applications.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with clients and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support across UK corporate tax and transaction tax advisory engagements.
• Assist with tax due diligence, tax structuring, and tax risk assessments for acquisitions and disposals.
• Advise on corporate reorganisations, restructurings, and refinancings.
• Support restructuring and insolvency teams on tax considerations in restructurings.
• Deliver tax analyses, reports, and client-facing presentations.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and project delivery.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to business development activities.
• Utilise AI/data tools where possible to enhance efficiency.
