Job summary

Interpath Advisory is seeking an Assistant Manager to support UK corporate tax and transaction tax advisory across a growing client base, including M&A, restructuring, and refinancing projects. Qualifications

• Strong UK corporate tax experience within a professional services, tax advisory, or accounting environment.
• Experience supporting transaction tax engagements, including tax due diligence, M&A transactions, and corporate restructurings.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Collaborative approach and ability to perform effectively within a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Support across UK corporate tax matters for clients and colleagues.
• Assist with transaction tax engagements, including due diligence and tax structuring for acquisitions and disposals.
• Advise on corporate reorganisations, restructurings, and refinancings.
• Support restructuring and insolvency teams on tax considerations in restructurings.
• Assist in delivering tax advice related to mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, and other corporate transactions.
• Prepare technical tax analyses, reports, and client-facing presentations.
• Manage day-to-day client relationships and coordinate project delivery.
• Support development and mentoring of junior team members.
• Assist senior staff with business development, proposals, and thought leadership.
• Leverage AI or data tools to improve efficiency where possible.
