Sopher + Co are Accountants and Tax Advisers who understand and add value to clients' personal and business affairs. We have an opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our Tax Department in Borehamwood.

The Role

This admin role involves supporting our Tax Department with general administration duties, including data entry, scanning documents, handling queries, correspondence, memos, letters, and photocopying.

Responsibilities for the Administration Assistant:

  • Corresponding with HMRC
  • Preparing tax packs
  • Issuing engagement letters
  • Processing incoming post and emails
  • Chasing information requests
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager

Requirements:

  • Experience in a professional services environment or similar admin role
  • Confident communication skills, especially with senior staff
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • Good time management and multi-tasking abilities
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Flexible, professional, confident, and relationship-building skills
