Job summary

ProTalent is recruiting a Tax and Accounts Semi Senior on the Kent/Sussex border. The role covers both accounts and tax with exposure to advisory work, from preparing{ }to planning. Salary ranges £28,000–£35,000 with full study support and a genuinely mixed role across the board.

Work with owner-managed and family-owned clients at a well-established firm; opportunities for long-term client relationships and career development on a growing practice.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice across accounts and tax
• AAT qualified or ATT/ACCA part qualified, or qualified by experience with the right depth
• Comfortable dealing with clients directly
• Desire for variety across the board and not a narrow compliance seat

Responsibilities

• Preparing accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
• Preparing and submitting corporation tax and personal tax returns
• VAT returns and bookkeeping work
• Speaking to clients directly and dealing with their day to day queries
• Supporting the directors on planning and advisory work as it comes up
