Job summary

Warrington Borough Council is seeking a Youth Worker for the Early Help Targeted Youth Service in the East locality of Warrington. The role involves delivering informal education and support to young people facing challenges at home, in education or within their social environment.

This is a fixed-term contract for 37 hours per week, including daytime delivery, evenings and some weekends. DBS clearance is required, and you must have the right to work in the UK; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• L3 JNC Qualification required or equivalent
• Experience in supporting young people without a youth work qualification welcomed

Responsibilities

• Deliver daytime sessions and contribute to evening/weekend activities as required
• Provide support to schools, colleges, and community young people projects
• Promote personal and social development and wellbeing of young people
