Job summary

Nottinghamshire County Council is seeking a Targeted Practitioner to work flexibly across services, supporting disabled children and young people countywide. You will back leadership teams with bespoke assistance and help families navigate challenges to access resources.

As a Targeted Practitioner, you will work flexibly across our services, adapting to meet the needs of disabled children and young people throughout the county. You will play a vital role in supporting our leadership team and providing bespoke assistance to children and their families. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in your community!

In This Role, You Will
  • Deliver targeted interventions and support for disabled children and young people.
  • Collaborate with co-ordinators to ensure the smooth running of our countywide service.
  • Provide direct, tailored support to children and their families, helping them navigate challenges and access resources.
  • Engage with various stakeholders to promote the well-being of children and families.
To Succeed As a Targeted Practitioner, You Should Have
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Children’s Social Care, Early Help Services, or Customer Services, with a focus on direct service delivery.
  • A good general education, ideally to NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance affecting children and families.
  • A full driving licence (unless registered disabled).
