Job summary

Core Group is seeking an experienced Taper & Jointer for an ongoing construction project in Leicester. The role offers a daily rate of £200 and an eight-week duration, with standard hours Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30 (8 hours paid). Start date is 28 September 2026.

CSCS is required, and candidates should have proven taper & jointer experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to deliver a high-quality finish while adhering to site health and safety rules.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Taping and jointing plasterboard.
• Applying jointing compounds.
• Filling and finishing joints.
• Installing and finishing corner beads.
• Preparing surfaces for painting and decoration.
• Sanding and achieving a smooth finish.
• Working from drawings and specifications.
• Rectifying imperfections and completing snagging.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
