Job summary

CJS Recruitment Limited are seeking a Taper and Jointer to work on a site in Horsham. Applicants should have CSCS and relevant industry experience, and be eager to work.

Duties include sealing joints between plasterboards, preparing walls and ceilings for painting, and reporting quality issues to the Production Supervisor. Work must follow Health and Safety, risk assessments and quality checks, with attention to detail and reliability mandated.

Qualifications

• High level of attention to detail.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Ability to use hand tools such as scrapers, batch pans and 10" and 12" jointing boxes.

Responsibilities

• Seal joints between plasterboards.
• Prepare wall and ceiling surfaces for painting.
• Report quality/design problems to the Production Supervisor.
• Ensure all work complies with Health and Safety and with Risk Assessments and Procedures.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with quality systems and checks.
