Job summary

SmartSourcing Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Talent Intelligence Workforce Insights Manager (SEO level) to work on a flexible 6-month hybrid contract from the London, Bristol or Manchester office.

You will build one trusted view of future recruitment demand by linking workforce plans, hiring forecasts and skills needs with external labour-market intelligence, and present insights to senior stakeholders in clear, actionable terms. BPSS SC eligibility is required.

Job description

Talent Intelligence Workforce Insights Manager (SEO) - 6mths - £350pdy - hybrid)

Our government client is seeking an experienced Talent Intelligence Workforce Insights Manager (SEO level) to work on a flexible hybrid basis from the London, Bristol or Manchester office.

BPSS SC eligible at a minimum - able to start on BPSS whilst undergoing SC.

Build one trusted view of future recruitment demand, connecting workforce plans, hiring forecasts, skills needs and recruitment priorities.

Combine internal recruitment data with external labour market intelligence to help leaders understand talent availability, competition, location, diversity and attraction challenges.

You will have:

• Turned data into action. You can move beyond reporting and use evidence to influence decisions, priorities or strategy.
• Built meaningful insight products. You have experience developing dashboards, analytics or reporting that help people make better decisions.
• Worked with complex or imperfect data. You can create a clear picture from multiple sources while being transparent about assumptions and limitations.
• Connected business needs with analysis. You understand how organisational priorities translate into workforce, operational or resource requirements.
• Used internal and external evidence. You have combined organisational data with market, customer or workforce insight to shape plans or improve outcomes.
• Communicated complex information clearly. You can explain technical concepts and analytical findings to senior and non-technical audiences.
• Challenged assumptions constructively. You are comfortable using evidence to question existing approaches and recommend better alternatives.
• Worked collaboratively. You build trust quickly and enjoy helping others use insight confidently and effectively.

It would be useful, but not essential, if you have:

• Experience in talent acquisition, workforce planning, people analytics or labour-market intelligence.
• Experience using LinkedIn Talent Insights, LinkedIn Recruiter or comparable talent-market platforms.
• Knowledge of SQL, data modelling, automation or connecting data from different systems.
• Experience analysing recruitment funnels, diversity outcomes or candidate experience.
