Job summary

Fusion Energy Base in the United Kingdom is seeking a Talent Development Manager to design and deliver an end-to-end talent and capability development strategy for STEP. The role focuses on attracting, onboarding, engaging, developing and retaining top talent to support a national endeavour in fusion energy.

You will lead leadership development, career frameworks, onboarding improvements, and a culture of inclusion, while partnering with senior leaders to future-proof the workforce and maintain

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and deliver enterprise-wide talent development programmes.
• Experience building career and capability frameworks and onboarding programmes.
• Strong capability to influence senior stakeholders and operate in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an enterprise-wide talent development strategy.
• Establish career pathways and progression frameworks to enable internal mobility.
• Lead succession planning, talent reviews, and interventions for high-potential roles.
• Create engaging onboarding and induction experiences.
• Partner with leaders and HR to support retention across UKFE and STEP.
• Design leadership development initiatives for managers in complex environments.
• Embed DEI principles in talent and development activities.
• Champion culture-building and alignment with mission-led purpose.
