Job summary

STEP Fusion UK Fusion Energy (UKFS) Ltd is seeking a Talent Development Manager to shape the people strategy behind one of the world's most ambitious missions—delivering fusion energy. You will lead end-to-end talent and capability development, attracting and onboarding talent, and partnering with leaders across UKFE and the STEP programme to drive engagement, learning and leadership development.

Qualifications

Essential: CIPD Level 7 or equivalent qualification.
5–7 years of experience in talent development or organisational development.
Strong track record leading talent development in complex, delivery-focused organisations.
Experience designing and embedding career and capability frameworks, onboarding programmes, and leadership development pathways.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver an enterprise-wide talent development strategy.
Establish clear career pathways and progression frameworks for internal mobility.
Lead succession planning, talent reviews, and interventions for high-potential roles.
Onboarding, integration and retention initiatives to support rapid cross-functional collaboration.
Partner with leaders and People Partners to support retention and organisational capability.
