Alexander Mae HR Ltd is seeking a Talent Acquisition Officer on a fixed-term maternity cover. The role supports a professional services firm with a hybrid working model across Devon, Somerset and Wiltshire.

The position involves ownership of full recruitment lifecycle and exposure to broader HR activities, reporting to the People Director. You will partner with hiring managers to attract and recruit talent, coordinate interviews and onboarding, and manage the ATS while contributing to continuous

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in recruitment or talent acquisition with end-to-end responsibility.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple vacancies.
• Experience using ATS and openness to learning HR systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Attention to detail and good IT skills.
• Experience in a professional services environment preferred.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between offices.
• Commitment to the fixed-term contract duration.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment from adverts through to offers and onboarding.
• Build relationships with hiring managers to provide recruitment guidance.
• Coordinate interviews, assessments and candidate communications.
• Manage the ATS and support managers in its use.
• Develop relationships with external organisations to support attraction.
• Represent the organisation at careers fairs and events.
• Support onboarding activities and HR administrative tasks.
• Produce recruitment reports and analyse metrics for improvements.
