What You'll Do

As Talent Management Consultant within our internal Talent team, you'll lead successful recruitment campaigns; you'll create inclusive strategies and solutions to attract and recruit candidates with highly desirable skill sets in a competitive candidate market. You'll utilise relevant workforce data, talent acquisition insights and your up to date knowledge of the best sourcing approaches and digital tools to tap into diverse candidate pools, both active and passive.

This role is focused on building a strong employer brand, highly effective recruitment marketing strategies, understanding the candidate experience, designing effective assessment and selection approaches and overall, how to make effective recruitment decisions. The Talent team understand the labour market, OCC's market position and our unique people proposition to ensure roles are engaging to a wide range of people.

You'll have ownership of projects such as (but not limited to!) reducing our contingent workforce spend, supporting with redeployment, EDI in recruitment, delivering workforce and succession planning initiatives and executive recruitment. The Talent team are responsible for delivering on the ATTRACT' workstream of Our People & Culture strategy.

About You

You'll have extensive, senior level experience in talent acquisition and a proven track record with successful campaigns to recruit into hard to fill and niche roles. Strong planning and project management skills are essential, with adaptability, resilience and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment.

Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills are key, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels including director level. You'll also have knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice, EDI, employer branding and recruitment marketing as well as strong commercial awareness and financial acumen. Your curiosity, creativity and initiative will enable you to scrutinise, reflect on and refine your approach to all you do; always measuring impact and making improvements. Experience in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment technologies is also required.
