Arriva Limited seeks a Talent Acquisition Specialist for the North Region, focusing on the recruitment of Bus Drivers and Engineers. The role emphasizes strategic sourcing, market insights, and strong partnerships to maintain a robust candidate pipeline.

The position is hybrid, with at least 3 days per week at central garages and regular travel across Yorkshire, North East, North West and Wales regions. Initial 12-month FTC.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal recruitment within high-volume, fast-paced hiring.
• Ability to analyse market trends, recruitment metrics and make decisions.
• Experience building partnerships with external organisations and networks.
• Proficient in online and offline candidate search (CV databases, job boards, social media).

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with hiring managers and HR teams locally.
• Build partnerships with external networks to proactively engage candidates.
• Advise stakeholders on recruitment trends and creative attraction solutions.
• Develop attraction campaigns and analyse market trends to optimise hiring.
• Review hiring processes to improve candidate experience.
• Collate data insights to improve candidate quality and retention.
• Lead recruitment-related projects and support KPI achievement.
• Coordinate with Training School on induction dates and capacity.
