Job summary

Arriva is seeking a Talent Acquisition Business Partner for the South & Midlands region to own recruitment across operational and engineering functions, with a focus on driver hiring and a strong emphasis on candidate experience.

The role requires strategic delivery, market insight, and the ability to partner with HR Business Partners and leaders. It is a hybrid position with on-site work at Thurmaston and travel to sites as needed, offering leadership across the regional TA team.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering recruitment in high-volume, operational environments.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and hiring decisions.
• Proven track record building talent pipelines and mobilising internal mobility.
• Experience leading or developing Talent Acquisition teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end recruitment across high-volume roles and multiple sites.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for immediate and future needs.
• Use market insight to inform attraction strategies and workforce planning.
• Collaborate with HRBPs, Operations, L&D to move candidates efficiently through assessment and onboarding.
• Mentor and develop members of the Talent Acquisition team.
