The Role

Are you a Talent Acquisition Manager with a fantastic track record of 3-5+ years of experience smashing your hiring targets and building exceptional teams? Your role would be to lead our talent acquisition function and ensure that we attract, engage and hire the very best talent in the industry.

The Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the talent acquisition strategy across all departments and roles
  • Build personal relationships with candidates, hiring managers and stakeholders at all levels within the organisation
  • Ensure excellence of talent acquisition processes and candidate experience at all times
  • Monitor and report recruitment performance metrics to Operating Board
  • Identify and communicate recruitment challenges and work with hiring managers to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes, tools and methodologies
  • Manage recruitment budgets and vendor relationships
  • Ensure that the correct internal stakeholders are aware and included in strategic hiring decisions
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, managers and commercial teams to understand their talent needs and ensure effective delivery of recruitment services – you have the ability to learn the tech language quickly
  • Ensure all applicants leave the recruitment process having had an excellent experience and would confidently recommend Databarracks as an employer

The Candidate will be:

  • Driven & innovative: You know talent acquisition isn't just about posting job ads. You're comfortable analysing recruitment metrics, iterating sourcing strategies, and continuously tweaking approaches to improve candidate quality and experience
  • People-focused & fun-loving: You can push for exceptional hiring standards without sacrificing culture. You'll be a key part of the department and wider team who people enjoy working with and learning from
  • A strong communicator: You will be able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You must be able to explain role requirements clearly, provide constructive candidate feedback, and negotiate offers effectively
  • A proactive problem-solver: With ability to quickly identify, understand and provide solutions to complex recruitment challenges and candidate concerns

Skills required

  • Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different roles, candidates and priorities
  • Ability to learn quickly about technical roles and share knowledge with hiring teams
  • Ability to prioritise workload to ensure that hiring targets and timelines are met
  • A strong team player who collaborates effectively with hiring managers
  • Willing to learn on the job from peers and confident to ask for help when needed
  • Experience with modern recruitment tools, social media sourcing, and candidate relationship management
