Overview

Our client, a world leading Insurance firm, who are experiencing rapid growth, are looking for a dynamic and outgoing Talent Acquisition Advisor to join their team. Reporting directly into the TA Lead, this role will have responsibility for managing hires across all departments throughout their UK offices. They are looking for someone who’s passionate about giving a first-class recruitment experience and an individual who can think inclusively as well as implementing robust processes. You’ll guide and coach hiring managers through effective interviewing techniques and the role will also have an opportunity to own and lead on their early careers offering (albeit a small intake).

Key responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • working closely with hiring managers from job description creation to onboarding and acting as subject matter expert
  • managing process end-to-end from CV sifting through to offer stage
  • managing early careers recruiting efforts for the UK, including apprentice and graduate engagement strategies, partnering with schools, universities and other relevant organisations
  • utilising LinkedIn and other relevant job boards in order to promote roles and drive direct sourcing
  • working with 3rd party agencies on hires where appropriate
  • tracking candidates via an ATS, posting job adverts and utilising direct job boards, acting as a Workday champion and suggesting improvements
  • creating candidate pipelines via LinkedIn, Workday and other technology
  • assisting in the development and delivery of recruitment metrics in order to assist with recruitment strategies
  • collaborating with the wider People team to ensure a seamless on-boarding experience
  • ad-hoc projects within wider People team
Experience required

Experience required:

  • recruiting in global organisations within financial or professional services
  • coaching hiring managers through recruitment processes
  • some knowledge of early careers hiring strategies
  • multi-tasking and working within tight timelines
  • credibility and ability to influence key stakeholders
  • experience of hiring within finance and operations functions
