West Hertfordshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Band 4 Tactical and Transactional Buyer to join the Procurement team. The role focuses on providing low-value but high-volume purchasing services across member trusts, and to support delivery of procurement targets.

You will work with the Transactional Buying Team Manager to implement strategies, engage stakeholders, and manage requisitions and orders for external suppliers where required.

Qualifications

• Experience with public sector procurement and low-value/high-volume purchasing.
• Ability to work in a team and engage with multiple stakeholders.
• Good communication and influencing skills across internal and external partners.

Responsabilités

• Provide low value but high-volume buying services across member Trusts.
• Support Tactical Buying Team Manager to deliver procurement targets.
• Raise requisitions and produce orders to external suppliers as required.
• Assist with development of tactical procurement plans and processes.
• Engage with stakeholders at junior and management levels to foster relationships.
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in procurement policies and systems.
