Job summary

GSK is seeking a Tablet Packaging Team Leader on a 12 months secondment/FTC. You will lead two shifts, coach packaging operators, and coordinate resources to meet production schedules safely and to quality standards.

You will drive continuous improvement, partner with engineering and QA, and manage people processes in line with GSK policies. This role offers development, visible impact on supply, and a pathway to leadership within a global network.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising production or packaging teams in a regulated manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of GMP and basic safety standards.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for all levels.
• Experience with performance management, training coordination and shift planning.
• Working knowledge of SAP or equivalent manufacturing/ERP systems.
• GCSEs including maths and English; A-levels or equivalent qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop shift teams to achieve safety, quality, compliance and performance targets.
• Engage and inspire employees by communicating the vision and purpose of their work.
• Drive performance through clear expectations, feedback and structured development plans.
• Support workforce planning including recruitment activities and demonstrating expected behaviours.
• Lead Tier 1 and Tier 2 meetings and ensure timely follow-up of actions.
