Job summary

Thingwall Primary School in Wirral is seeking a warm, reliable TA1 to join our nursery team and deliver high-quality wrap around and holiday club provision. You will facilitate safe, creative play, sports and crafts, while assisting with meal preparation and safeguarding practices.

The ideal candidate has GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) and experience with primary children; additional childcare and safeguarding qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.
• Experience working or volunteering with primary school-aged children.
• Desirable: Childcare/Early Years qualification, safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, or Food Hygiene.

Thingwall Primary School, part of Oak Trees Multi Academy Trust is seeking a warm, reliable and proactive TA1 to join our nursery team to deliver a high standard of support to children attending our wrap around and holiday club provision. You will deliver a high-quality before- and after-school care. In this role, you will create a safe, welcoming, and enriching environment for primary pupils by facilitating creative play, sports and craft activities, assisting with nutritious meal preparation and ensuring strict adherence to safeguarding and health standards. The ideal candidate possesses GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) along with experience working or volunteering with primary school-aged children; additional qualifications in Childcare/Early Years, safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, or Food Hygiene are desirable.
