Thingwall Primary School in Wirral is seeking a warm, reliable TA1 to join our nursery team and deliver high-quality wrap around and holiday club provision. You will facilitate safe, creative play, sports and crafts, while assisting with meal preparation and safeguarding practices.

The ideal candidate has GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) and experience with primary children; additional childcare and safeguarding qualifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.
• Experience working or volunteering with primary school-aged children.
• Desirable: Childcare/Early Years qualification, safeguarding, Paediatric First Aid, or Food Hygiene.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality before- and after-school care.
• Create a safe, welcoming and enriching environment for pupils.
• Facilitate creative play, sports and craft activities.
• Assist with nutritious meal preparation.
