Job summary

Tower Hamlets Council is seeking a TA Move On Officer for an initial 12-month, potentially extending or becoming permanent for the right candidate. The role is based at E1 1BJ with hybrid working arrangements.

You will support households in temporary accommodation to secure longer-term PRS housing, identify options, negotiate with landlords, and ensure homelessness duties are discharged in line with legislation while helping clients access employment and training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support households in temporary accommodation to secure longer-term PRS accommodation.
• Work with households to identify realistic housing options and overcome barriers to move-on.
• Acquire and negotiate accommodation from landlords, letting agents, and accommodation providers.
• Support the Council to discharge homelessness duties in line with legislation.
• Support households to access employment, training, and skills opportunities.
• Manage a caseload and develop clear move-on plans.

Job description

Good Afternoon, I am currently representing Tower Hamlets Council who are offering an initial temporary contract for a period of 12 months with a view to be extended or offered a permanent position for the right candidate at a rate which is negotiable dependent upon experience.

We are looking for a TA Move On Officer this role will be based at: E1 1BJ Hybrid

The right candidate will:
