Job summary

Halfords in Bicester is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our Autocentres team. You will carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards and perform a wide range of vehicle maintenance and repair work, to ensure every job is done to the highest standard.

We offer an uncapped bonus scheme, hybrid training, and strong development opportunities within the UK's largest automotive service business. A full UK driving licence with up to 9 points is required.

Qualifications

• MOT Tester with current DVSA licence.
• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• Full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out MOT tests to DVSA standards.
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks across a range of vehicles.
• Diagnose faults and perform diagnostics to correct issues.
• Ensure all work meets Halfords quality standards.

Skills and experience

• Level 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent qualification or experience)
• Valid MOT Testing Licence
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
