Job summary

EGGER is seeking a Process Operator to join the Tongue & Groove production line in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will be instrumental in operating the line, learning all process aspects, and helping meet production targets with a strong safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, production or process operating experience is desirable.
• Basic IT skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good health, safety and housekeeping standards.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.
• Ability to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Integrity, reliability and strong work ethic.
• FLT licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tongue & Groove production line as part of a team.
• Learn all aspects of the T&G process, including line operation, banding and packing.
• Complete production and shift reports accurately and on time.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Ensure equipment and machinery are kept in good condition.
• Follow health and safety procedures and use PPE correctly.
• Report accidents, incidents, near misses or hazards promptly.
• Communicate with the Production Manager about equipment and issues.
• Provide cover for colleagues during holidays, sickness, training or maintenance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and maximise output and efficiency.
