Job summary

EGGER is seeking a Production Operator for the Lamination Department at the Barony plant. You will support production targets, quality standards and safety requirements while undergoing comprehensive training across all areas of the department.

The role involves a double day shift (06:00–14:00 and 14:00–22:00, Monday to Friday) with a competitive salary and extensive benefits, plus development opportunities within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Basic IT skills including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Good communication and ability to work in a team.
• Willingness to learn and undertake training across multiple operational areas.
• Flexible approach to supporting business and departmental requirements.

Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive training across all department areas including board and paper preparation.
• Complete shift reports detailing production performance, downtime and data.
• Work with Shift Supervisors and Engineering teams to resolve equipment issues.
• Maintain housekeeping and equipment to high standards.
• Support holiday, sickness, training and maintenance cover to maximise production.
• Attend training at EGGER UK locations when required.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and promote a safe working environment.
• Adhere to company quality standards and operating procedures.
