Job summary

AECOM in the United Kingdom is seeking ambitious engineers to join the Transmission and Distribution team, working on grid-scale power infrastructure from concept through energisation and helping the energy transition.

You will contribute to major projects like Great Grid Upgrade and collaborations with hyperscalers and data centre operators, with a hybrid work setup and opportunities to grow through AECOM University.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent required (HNC/HND/BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng).
• Demonstrated experience in electrical design consultancy for transmission & distribution.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders in writing and verbally.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design of grid-scale power infrastructure from concept to energisation.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders and sub-contractors to collect feedback and present technical issues clearly.
• Support delivery of major projects like National Grid Great Grid Upgrade and collaborations with hyperscalers and data centre operators.
