Job summary

AECOM is hiring engineers to join our Transmission and Distribution team in the United Kingdom. You will contribute to shaping grid-scale power infrastructure from concept through energisation on landmark projects and help accelerate the energy transition.

Ideal candidates have electrical engineering design consultancy experience, knowledge of design codes, and strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Electrical/electronic/power engineering qualification (HNC/HND/BSc/BEng or MSc/MEng).
• Demonstrable electrical engineering design consultancy experience on transmission and distribution projects.
• Working knowledge of BS and/or Eurocodes for relevant engineering design standards.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, stakeholders and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to major T&D projects from concept through energisation.
• Support grid modernisation and energy transition initiatives.
• Engage with clients and partners to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
