Pertemps Technical is recruiting for a Systems Test Engineer for one of our clients based in Clevedon, BS21. As a Systems Test Engineer, you will report to the Test Supervisor and collaborate with all other departments.
Overview:
- Monday to Friday, 38.5 hours per week
- Experience in a similar role is necessary
- Salary between £33,000-£35,761 based on experience

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Support the delivery of business success by working closely with all departments and managers
- Ensure the right experience for customers and generate profits
- Work collaboratively as a team, embodying our shared values
- Develop yourself, balance work and personal life, and offer support to colleagues
- Test and inspect Battery Tripping Units, Inverters, and U.P.S. Systems
- Test manufactured and bought-in equipment to standards
- Complete factory acceptance tests (FATs) to customer specifications
- Capacity test batteries
- Evaluate testing processes to meet standards
- Maintain test equipment to required standards
- Fault find down to component level on PCBs
- Assist in developing and writing standards
- Participate in troubleshooting and issue reporting to identify root causes
- Maintain quality standards and records
- Provide feedback to Design and Engineering, participate in design reviews
Qualifications / Knowledge:
- Knowledge of QAM (sections 1-3) QAP2.7, 3.3, 4.1, 4.2
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Experience with MRP systems
- Understanding high frequency power supply technology
- Experience with LabView
