Responsible for the completion of production test activities within the Cockpit Control department, to the required time, cost and quality.

• Contribute to ensuring that the necessary skills, equipment, tools and processes/procedures are in place to support the test requirements and ensure a safe (for both personnel and product) working environment.
• Support more junior members within the team to achieve project time, cost and quality objectives.
• Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of documentation related to testing, such as test procedures, test reports, first article inspections, etc.
• Contribute to ensuring that test equipment, including rigs, are fit for purpose and appropriately maintained – including calibration where applicable.
• Contribute to the ongoing upkeep of test equipment/assets.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within a similar role in high precision, high value electro-mechanical systems within the Aerospace or Precision Engineering sectors.
• Strong ability to read, understand, and follow mechanical and electrical technical drawings.
• Experience in testing electromechanical devices with embedded software.
• Experience in fault finding and root cause analysis (component level through system level).
