Are you passionate about vehicle simulation, durability, and system-level performance? ALTEN UK is seeking System Engineers to support innovative projects in the premium automotive sector, focusing on durability analysis, thermal comfort systems, and safety-critical simulations. Location: Coventry (Hybrid)

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Perform durability analysis and risk assessments across seating systems and occupant structures.
• Develop system-level models related to seat heating, cooling, and electro-mechanical actuators.
• Carry out FEA simulations, focusing on crash safety, material behaviour, and component performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate mechanical, electrical, and thermal subsystems.
• Use modelling tools to simulate real-world performance scenarios and support design validation.
• Contribute to design reviews, test planning, and continuous improvement of system modelling methods.

Experience, skills and qualifications required:

• Proficient in MATLAB, Simulink, and FEA simulation tools.
• Exposure to CATIA V5 for CAD data handling and integration with simulation models.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work within a multi-disciplinary environment.
