Based in Alzenau, near Frankfurt in Germany, Hyundai Motorsport GmbH is responsible for Hyundai’s global motorsport activities and primarily for its World Rally Championship program. We are currently looking for a Control & Simulation Engineer to join our team.

• Assist in control software/physical model development and validation for a race car.
• Develop and maintain HIL test systems - Software & Calibration.
• Automate test cases on the HIL system.
• Assist in HIL application and testing of control software and hardware.
• Specify test cases based on requirements, system behavior models, and robustness analysis.
• Develop innovative solutions in model-based development for hybrid/alternative propulsion powertrains.
• Manage version control and document results and models.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in functional/physical model development, SIL/MIL/HIL testing, and application.
• Good understanding of car and powertrain control (ICE and hybrid).
• Strong knowledge of model-based controls with Matlab/Simulink, Engine Management Systems, and data analysis (Marelli or equivalent).
• Good debugging skills for C code.
• Experience with HIL automatic testing using SimulinkRT or similar tools.
• Experience in motorsport is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills; fluent English required, German is a plus.
• Flexible working hours and task management skills.
• Motivated to manage and deliver tasks effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team and foster a motivating environment.
