The role

will act within the Technical Excellence team, which serves the Global Technical and Operational Excellence Function for the Global Campaigns and the associated engineering disciplines and domains.

Day-to-day, you will:

1. Deliver a Global Digital System Engineering Delivery Environment to modernise engineering delivery, workflows, and optimise productivity.
2. Achieve consensus on user and system level requirements across a global stakeholder community.
3. Utilise large software vendors and Enterprise Architecture communities to build and trial a prototype Digital System Engineering Delivery Environment, demonstrating its value for investment decisions.
4. Demonstrate improvements in workflows through the prototype.
5. Use evidence from demonstrations to secure investment funding for the full implementation of the Global System Engineering Delivery Environment.

This role offers flexibility to work remotely or from any QinetiQ site.

Essential experience for the Systems Manager:

• Significant experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering.
• Leadership experience in a relevant role.
