Are you an experienced leader passionate about optimising administrative systems and driving operational efficiency? Do you excel in managing complex IT systems and implementing strategic solutions that enhance service delivery? In this key role, you will oversee the integration and management of Hospitality IT systems, administrative functions, and financial monitoring, while leading a team that ensures the smooth delivery of an exceptional Hospitality service across our 3 campuses.

Make a difference

  • Lead your team, providing support, guidance, and performance management.
  • Drive the optimisation and strategic development of Hospitality IT and administrative systems within Hospitality Services.
  • Support the financial performance of the service, including P&L monitoring, invoice management, and budget tracking, ensuring accuracy and alignment with finance targets.
  • Support event coordination and internal/external marketing initiatives, enhancing the profile of Hospitality Services across all channels.
  • Implement and improve processes to enhance operational efficiency, contributing to the continuous improvement of services.
  • Monitor and report on key sustainability indicators.

You'll Thrive If You Have

  • A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
  • Strong expertise in managing Hospitality IT systems (e.g., Kinetics, Procure Wizard, Agresso) and using data to drive operational improvements.
  • Proven experience leading professional services teams focusing on performance management and team development.
  • Experience in financial oversight, including working to financial targets, purchase orders, and using accounting systems.
  • A proactive approach to planning and implementing Hospitality-specific policy and process improvements within a large, dynamic service.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A strategic mindset with experience in Hospitality-specific data analysis, business intelligence, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Hospitality health & safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance across all activities.

Interviews are scheduled to take place at our Frenchay Campus on the 23rd of May, 2025.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working 37 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days, and being flexible to support the delivery of the Hospitality service.

UWE Bristol is a campus-based university, and it is vital to our success and the delivery of an outstanding experience for our students that our campuses are dynamic and vibrant places to learn and spend time. This role is therefore campus-based for all of your time.
