Job summary

World Class Defence Organisation is seeking a Systems Lead - RF Data Link subcontractor for an initial 12 month contract, with a rate of £85 per hour. The role is based in Stevenage or Bristol, with hybrid/remote working 4-5 days onsite (a 4-day week may be possible).

The contract runs 37 hours per week and inside IR35 (umbrella). The Data Link Systems team develops RF sub-systems for a weapons system; the successful candidate could be located at either site and will provide technical leadership

• Experience leading a small engineering team and delivering to timescales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Job description

World Class Defence Organisation is currently looking to recruit a Systems Lead - RF Data Link subcontractor on an initial 12 month contract.

Rate: £85.00 per hour

Overtime Rate: Hours worked over 37 hours per week will be calculated at ‘time and a quarter’

Location: Stevenage or Bristol (depending on your preference)

Hybrid / Remote working: 4-5 days per week onsite, possible change to this depending on workload. A 4-day week (Monday to Thursday is possible).

Contract: 37 Hours per week

Duration: 12 months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)

IR35 status: Inside IR35 (Umbrella)

Systems Lead - RF Data Link subcontractor Job Description:

The Data Link Systems team is responsible for the development the RF communications sub-systems within a weapons system. Our team is located at both our Bristol and Stevenage sites. The successful applicant could be primarily located at either. The role provides a unique opportunity to apply your skills within a growing company and multi-skilled team. It will provide exposure to complex and technologically and advanced projects and products. Working with highly talented and motivated engineers, in a friendly and supportive environment.
