Modis is seeking a Systems Lead for RF Data Link on a long-term, on-site contract in Stevenage or Bristol. The role requires achieving SC clearance and leading a small engineering team in RF communications subsystems for a weapons system. You will interact with internal and external stakeholders and oversee design reviews and validation activities.

The role offers exposure to complex, technologically advanced projects within a supportive environment and international collaboration across sites.

Systems Lead - RF Data Link required for long term contract on site in either Stevenage or Bristol

Skillset/experience required: The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC clearance. They will have an understanding of RF communication principals and design. They will also have experience managing project timescales and deliverables, and providing technical leadership to a small engineering team. Good interaction skills, verbal and written communication are essential.

Overview of department

The Data Link Systems team is responsible for the development the RF communications sub-systems within a weapons system. Our team is located at both our Bristol and Stevenage sites. The successful applicant could be primarily located at either. The role provides a unique opportunity to apply your skills within a growing company and multi-skilled team. It will provide exposure to complex and technologically and advanced projects and products. Working with highly talented and motivated engineers, in a friendly and supportive environment.
