Akkodis is seeking a Systems Lead - RF Data Link for a long-term contract, on site in either Stevenage or Bristol. The role requires SC clearance, strong RF design knowledge, and proven leadership of a small engineering team.

The successful candidate will manage system requirements, lead design reviews, coordinate internal and external suppliers, and collaborate with international teams on complex RF data link development within a weapons system program.

Skillset/experience required:

• The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC clearance.
• They will have an understanding of RF communication principals and design.
• They will also have experience managing project timescales and deliverables, and providing technical leadership to a small engineering team.
• Good interaction skills, verbal and written communication are essential.

Overview of department:

The Data Link Systems team is responsible for the development the RF communications sub-systems within a weapons system. Our team is located at both our Bristol and Stevenage sites. The successful applicant could be primarily located at either. The role provides a unique opportunity to apply your skills within a growing company and multi-skilled team. It will provide exposure to complex and technologically and advanced projects and products. Working with highly talented and motivated engineers, in a friendly and supportive environment.
