Job summary

Canon EMEA is seeking a Systems Lead to own the Demantra platform across Europe, driving performance, development and evolution. You will partner with Sales, Finance, BI, IT and external providers to optimise processes and support budget and investment planning.

In this highly visible role you will lead system enhancements, provide expert consultancy and training, coordinate SR/CR workflows, and ensure seamless integration with OBIEE and Oracle R12, delivering practical solutions for commercial

Qualifications

  • Strong financial acumen to interpret commercial data.
  • Advanced Excel skills for analysis and presentation.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Proven cross-functional collaboration with IT, BI and Sales.
  • Subject matter expert providing guidance across ITCG.
  • Experience with complex data structures, systems architecture.
  • Experience with retail, distribution or FMCG environments would help.
  • Knowledge of Oracle R11/R12, Demantra or similar planning systems.
  • Experience supporting large-scale system implementations.
  • Familiarity with OBIEE or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience with third-party providers and SR/CR processes.
  • Understanding of sales planning, budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Own the Demantra platform as SME and primary contact for tech support across Imaging Technology Consumer Group.
  • Ensure Demantra operations support budgeting and investment planning.
  • Provide consultancy, support and training to stakeholders.
  • Lead system enhancements and SR/CR workflow to deliver updates.
  • Collaborate with BI, IT and external providers for OBIEE and R12 integration.
  • Lead transformation projects like Demantra relaunch and R12 transition.
  • Optimize workflows, drive process improvements and efficiency.
  • Translate business requirements into system capabilities for commercial goals.
  • Oversee accruals, payment plans and claims for European partner channels.
  • Define short- and long-term objectives with best practices to support performance.
  • Support Sales Operations Senior Manager in planning and coordination.
  • Build relationships and promote Demantra adoption across the business.

Are you passionate about turning complex systems into powerful business enablers? We're looking for a proactive Systems Lead to become the driving force behind one of our most business-critical platforms, ensuring it delivers maximum value across Europe. In this highly visible role, you'll own the performance, development and evolution of our Demantra platform, partnering with Sales, Finance, Business Intelligence, IT and external providers to optimise processes, influence strategic projects and support key budget and investment planning. Responsibilities


  • Take business ownership of the Demantra platform, acting as the subject matter expert and primary point of contact for technical support across Imaging Technology Consumer Group.

  • Ensure Demantra and its associated processes remain operational, fit for purpose and fully prepared to support critical Budget and Investment planning activities.

  • Provide expert consultancy, technical support and training to stakeholders, driving adoption and maximising the value of the Demantra platform across the business.

  • Manage system enhancements and continuous improvement initiatives, coordinating Service Requests and Change Requests to ensure effective delivery of updates and new functionality.

  • Work closely with Business Intelligence, IT and third-party service providers to resolve system issues, manage support requests and ensure seamless integration with connected systems, including OBIEE and R12.

  • Lead and support key business transformation projects, including initiatives such as the Demantra re-launch and R12 transition, ensuring successful implementation and business readiness.

  • Manage and optimise operational workflows, identifying opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and enhance the overall effectiveness of business operations.

  • Partner with stakeholders across Sales, Finance and Operations to ensure business requirements are accurately translated into system capabilities and deliver practical solutions to support commercial objectives.

  • Oversee accruals, payment plans and claims approval processes for key European partner channels, including Amazon, MSH and PE Sales, ensuring accuracy and effective governance.

  • Define, document and deliver short- and long-term operational objectives, implementing appropriate processes, tools and best practices to support business performance.

  • Support the Sales Operations Senior Manager in planning, coordinating and improving operational activities, contributing to the delivery of departmental objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Build strong relationships across the business, championing the effective use of Demantra and fostering collaboration to deliver efficient, scalable and future‑ready business processes.


Qualifications


  • Strong financial acumen with the ability to interpret and manage commercial data and processes.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyse, manipulate and present complex datasets.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across technical and non-technical teams.

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams, including IT, Business Intelligence, Sales Operations and wider business stakeholders.

  • Recognised subject matter expertise, with the ability to provide technical guidance, support and knowledge sharing across central and local ITCG teams.

  • Demonstrable experience working with complex data structures, system architecture or enterprise business systems.

  • Experience within a retail, distribution or FMCG environment would be advantageous.

  • Knowledge of Oracle R11/R12, Demantra or similar enterprise planning and forecasting systems would be advantageous.

  • Experience supporting large‑scale business system implementations, upgrades or transformation projects would be advantageous.

  • Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting platforms, such as OBIEE or similar analytics tools, would be advantageous.

  • Experience working with third‑party system providers and managing Service Request (SR) and Change Request (CR) processes would be advantageous.

  • An understanding of sales planning, budgeting, forecasting or investment management processes would be advantageous.

This role is paying between 61,908 - £74,588 + 10% bonus dependant on experience.
