Job summary

Gill Group seeks a Head of Systems Engineering to establish and lead the systems engineering function across the business, spanning software, electronics and mechanical disciplines. The role reports to the VP of Global Engineering and drives architecture, requirements management and verification and validation for the product portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience leading systems engineering across the full product lifecycle.
• Strong technical background across software, electronics and mechanical engineering.
• Proven track record delivering complex products to market.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the systems engineering capability across the business.
• Define and govern product and system architectures across portfolios.
• Own requirements management, verification and validation activities.
• Improve reliability engineering and root cause analysis.
• Introduce scalable systems engineering processes and governance frameworks.
• Support effective use of outsourced engineering partners.
• Act as technical authority across multidisciplinary programmes.
