When you join as a Systems Engineer in our Defence Rigs team, you'll play a critical role in enabling complex test activity that underpins the development of next-generation aerospace technologies. You'll be central to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team that supports a variety of programmes across the defence sector and beyond. This role sits within Test & Experimental Engineering - Defence, where you'll be part of the Bristol Rigs team. The team supports a broad range of projects within Defence but also has reach across other sectors, giving you exposure to a wide range of engineering challenges and technology areas.

This role offers the opportunity to work on flagship programmes such as Tempest (Global Combat Air Programme) and beyond. As a Systems Engineer, you'll play a key role in enabling the testing of new technologies through full lifecycle rig delivery-from requirements capture and interface management through to systems-level integration, commissioning, and issue resolution.
