Brief

Working for a leading & established defence organisation, as a key member of the Combat Systems Integration & Test Team, you will deliver work related to the design definition of Combat System Integration Rigs, identification of integration design proving requirements, and coordination across disciplines to ensure that Integration and Acceptance activities are planned and conducted in a timely manner.

What the role of the Systems Integration Engineer entails:

• Lead activities to produce documentation supporting the design definition of Dreadnought Combat System Integration Rig(s).
• Identify and develop Integration Design Proving Requirements.
• Develop Test Specifications.
• Act as the Integration Point of Contact for issues raised by Sub System Teams.
• Identify areas of Integration Risk and propose mitigations.
• Coordinate between multiple stakeholder groups to maintain the Integration programme.
• Support the Combat Systems Acceptance Process.

What experience you need to be the successful Systems Integration Engineer:

• Knowledge/background in Combat Systems.
• Sound Systems Engineering knowledge and application.
• Experience in verification and validation phases of the lifecycle.
• Ability to operate in a large, complex project at engineering and project management levels in a multi-disciplinary environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as the role will interface across teams at various levels.
