Job summary

Inzpire are seeking a Systems Engineer (Requirements & Test) to support the product development cycle within an agile Scrum team. The role focuses on derivation of software and system requirements, plus design and test authoring to ensure high standards.

You will work as part of the Mission Systems division in Lincoln, contributing across disciplines. The ideal candidate will have expertise in requirements, verification, and configuration management tools, with a proactive, detail-oriented

Qualifications

• Evidence of a methodical approach to work.
• Expert user of Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
• Understanding of Requirements, Architecture and Verification concepts for software and systems.
• Experience using Requirements, Verification, and Configuration Management tools (e.g. IBM Rational DOORS, Azure DevOps).
• Proven experience developing traceable requirements and design.
• Proven experience developing tests to satisfy stated requirements.
• Understanding of the principles of configuration control.

Responsibilities

• Derivation of software and system requirements.
• Development of software and system test procedures to satisfy the derived requirements.
• Assisting in the design and implementation of product features.
• Maintaining solid Systems Engineering principles within a sprint.
• Contributing to systems engineering aspects of product development.
• Conducting software and system tests and reviewing work for quality.
• Continuous improvement of processes and procedures.
• Undertaking related project activities and supporting goals.
