Thales Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) UK is recruiting a Systems Engineer in Crawley to deliver next-generation EW, Radar or UAS solutions. Hybrid role with involvement across requirements, design, and verification activities throughout the lifecycle.

You will manage requirements with DOORS or Polarion, work with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure customer satisfaction while pursuing active SC clearance where required.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in a numerate, scientific or engineering subject or equivalent experience.
• Experience in requirements management using DOORS or Polarion.
• Knowledge of the full engineering lifecycle from concept to test strategies and updates.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering processes and lifecycles.
• Ability to integrate multiple technologies and verify in a structured way within a system.
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and disciplines.
• Understanding of Systems Thinking and its application.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrate that the solution satisfies the customer’s approved operational needs.
• Formalise and manage requirements using DOORS or Polarion.
• Assemble solution elements to evaluate design, behavior and performance against requirements.
• Formalise specifications for developing the solution.
• Contribute to or review engineering plans for the solution.
• Support IVVQ activities.
• Perform trade-off analysis, modelling and simulation.
• Create SE and IVVQ related documentation.
• Collaborate with Systems Engineering teams to design and formalise the solution.
