The opportunity

A leading global systematic investment firm is looking for an experienced platform engineer to join its core compute team. The firm runs high-performance, data-intensive workloads across regions, and this team builds the infrastructure underneath them. You’ll architect and evolve the compute platform, working closely with engineering teams worldwide on infrastructure-as-code, observability and self-healing systems.

What we’re looking for

• Configuration management (Ansible, Chef or SaltStack)
• Python, Go or Rust for infrastructure tooling
• Infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform or Pulumi)
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure) across compute, storage, networking and IAM
• Monitoring and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Zabbix) plus logging and tracing (ELK, Fluentd, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger)
• Identity and access management (LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth2)
• Git workflows, test‑driven infrastructure and a DevOps mindset
• A degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar
