VIQU is seeking a Systems Engineer for a 6-month contract based in Sunderland. You will support a large global organisation, maintaining IT infrastructure across the business and handling 3rd line queries.

The role covers BAU tasks and project support within the ITIL framework, with on-site presence two days per week in Sunderland. Key requirements include expertise in Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and IAM platforms (Entra ID/Okta).

Systems Engineer

6-Month Contract - Outside IR35 - Based in Sunderland

VIQU are looking for a Systems Engineer to support a large global organisation and maintain their range of IT infrastructure and systems across the business.

You will be working in their Infrastructure team supporting them with 3rd line queries – covering both BAU activities and supporting in Projects

Systems Administrator Experience/Skillset requirements:

• Microsoft 365 / Office 365 / Intune / Exchange Online
• Windows Server
• Active Directory
• Hyper-V or VMware – ideally HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastrucutre)
• Entra ID or Okta
• Basic Networking knowledge
• Any Storage, Disaster Recovery and Backup experience would be beneficial

Systems Administrator Responsibilities:

• Provide 3rd Line technical and infrastructure support, resolving complex escalated incidents across infrastructure, networking and end-user computing environments.
• Maintain and support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta and Identity & Access Management (IAM) environments.
• Provide technical support for infrastructure and migration projects, including server, platform and legacy on-premises file server migrations.
• Work closely with internal IT teams in an ITIL-based environment, contributing to projects, documenting solutions and implementing technical changes.

The System Engineer must be able to commit to being onsite in Sunderland 2 days per week.
