Job summary

VIQU IT is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a large global organisation from Sunderland on a 6-month contract, outside IR35. The role focuses on 3rd line infrastructure and end-user computing, covering Windows Server, M365, Intune, IAM and related technologies.

You will be part of the Infrastructure team, handling BAU tasks and project work, with on-site presence in Sunderland required two days per week.

Qualifications

• 3rd line technical and infrastructure support experience.
• Experience maintaining IAM environments and identity platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd line technical and infrastructure support, resolving complex escalated incidents across infrastructure, networking and end-user computing.
• Maintain and support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Intune, Okta and Identity & Access Management (IAM) environments.
• Provide technical support for infrastructure and migration projects, including server, platform and legacy on-premises file server migrations.
• Work with internal IT teams in an ITIL-based environment, documenting solutions and implementing technical changes.

Systems Engineer

6-Month Contract - Outside IR35 - Based in Sunderland

VIQU are looking for a Systems Engineer to support a large global organisation and maintain their range of IT infrastructure and systems across the business.

You will be working in their Infrastructure team supporting them with 3rd line queries - covering both BAU activities and supporting in Projects.

Systems Administrator Experience/Skillset requirements:

• Microsoft 365 / Office 365 / Intune / Exchange Online


• Windows Server


• Active Directory


• Hyper-V or VMware - ideally HCI (Hyper-Converged Infrastrucutre)


• Entra ID or Okta


• Basic Networking knowledge


• Any Storage, Disaster Recovery and Backup experience would be beneficial

Systems Administrator Responsibilities:
